ISHINOMAKI HOP WORKS
Brewery in a former movie theater
From July 2022, the site of the movie theater will be used to open the brewery.
Through hops and beer, we aim to create “the lights of the town” by letting people know about the town of Ishinomaki.
Bottles can be sold directly at the brewery from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays.
*Visits for the general public are possible at an event scheduled to be held on the fourth Sunday of every month.

Yuka Takahashi
Born in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Planning and managing motor sports at a motorcycle manufacturer, and also participates in races. After working as a specialist in the fields of education and welfare, in 2011, he established the NPO Switch, which specializes in supporting employment and school attendance for people with mental illness. Furthermore, in August 2016, Ishinomaki Farm, a general incorporated association, was established in Kitakami-cho, Ishinomaki City. We are aiming for a business based on the concept of a social farm, such as creating employment through the power of the region and the power of agriculture, and fostering leaders of regional exchanges.
